Perinatal simulation training
The Perinatal Mental Health Community Service (PMHCS) would like to invite you to a free training session, alongside other health and social care professionals, at Medway Maritime Hospital.
During the session, you’ll take part in three simulated scenarios based on real-life situations. These explore some of the challenges professionals may face when supporting women in different settings. The scenarios focus on recognising, assessing and responding to a range of perinatal mental health needs, as well as working effectively with other professionals.
The training is designed to build confidence in practice and will conclude with a full group debrief, giving time to reflect on learning and share experiences.
Dates for Perinatal Simulation Training in 2026 are:
- Monday 27th April
- Monday 22nd June
- Monday 10th August
- Monday 5th October

All training will take place from 9:30am-4:30pm at The Simulation Suite, Postgraduate Centre, Medway Maritime Hospital, Windmill Road, Gillingham ME7 5NY. (Full day attendance required)
