Reading: John 6

So when the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there,
they got into the boats and went across to Capernaum to look for
him. 25 They found him on the other side of the lake and asked, “Rabbi,
when did you get here?”
26 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, you want to be with me because I
fed you, not because you understood the miraculous signs. 27 But don’t
be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy
seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man[f] can give you. For God the
Father has given me the seal of his approval.”

Prayer

We pray for God’s will to be sought in this world
by World Leaders; Business owners; Managers; Scientists; Educators; Writers, Journalists and Healthcare workers.

We pray for God’s will to be sought in this world

By Refugees and asylum seekers and those rejected by the systems of the world and all those who work without money or contract.

Those without a public voice.

Lord may your will be done in the lives of those we pray from today, In the lives of those who are near death,
And in our lives, may Your will be done. May we learn to seek your Kingdom above all things,

For you alone are God eternal, throughout earth and Heaven above.

The Lord’s Prayer

Let us pray with confidence as our Saviour has taught us
OUR FATHER, WHO ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME;
THY KINGDOM COME; THY WILL BE DONE;
ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD.
AND FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES,
AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US.
